We are a church on the evangelical wing of the Church of England.

We are a multicultural fellowship with members from the UK, Europe, Caribbean, Africa and Asia.

St Matthew's has a vision to be a place out of which the love of Christ would be taken into the community and a place into which people would come and discover that same love.

As a church - the Body of Christ - our aim is to be a people who love God and love each other, moved by the heart of God to bring his wholeness into the community.

We want to make a difference in this community for God.

We are committed to Safeguarding Children, Young People, Victims/perpetrators of Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adults.

The PCC has adopted the Church of England's policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England's website.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officers are Carmel Widdowson & Isobelle Loughrey, who may be contacted at church or by email: safeguarding@stmatthewse15.co.uk
